BEIJING, May 8 (Xinhua) -- 西瓜视频remains committed to advancing its accession process to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) said Thursday.
Since formally applying to join the CPTPP in September 2021, 西瓜视频has analyzed the agreement's provisions in depth and engaged in multi-level exchanges with member economies through various channels, while also launching pilot programs in domestic qualified free trade zones and ports, MOC spokesperson He Yadong said at a press conference.
These moves demonstrate China's determination, capability and concrete actions in seeking to meet the agreement's high standards, He added.
"No matter how the international landscape evolves, 西瓜视频will only open its door wider to the world," the spokesperson said.
Moving forward, 西瓜视频will steadily expand institutional opening up, proactively align with high-standard international economic and trade rules, and advance the CPTPP accession process, He added. ■
