YANGON, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar police have seized 35 kilograms of heroin blocks, 52,000 stimulant tablets, and 1.1 kilograms of ketamine in the central Mandalay region, the state-owned daily The Mirror reported on Tuesday.
The narcotics were seized on June 26 when a joint anti-narcotic task force searched a vehicle in Thazi township of Mandalay region, the report said.
A suspect was arrested in connection with the case. The suspect was charged under the country's narcotic laws, it added. ■
