BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5 jolted Drake Passage at 0216 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.8 km, was initially determined to be at 60.19 degrees south latitude and 61.82 degrees west longitude. ■
