JERUSALEM, Oct. 21 (Xinhua) -- The number of tourists visiting Israel in the first nine months reached 927,800, up 22.5 percent year-on-year, the country's Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) said Tuesday.
Meanwhile, the number of tourists visiting Israel in the third quarter reached about 316,900, up 20.9 percent year-on-year, it said.
Still, the figures are relatively low compared to those before Israel's multi-front conflict starting from October 2023.
A total of 2.83 million tourists visited Israel in the first nine months of 2023, and 858,500 in the third quarter of that year, according to data from the CBS. ■
