BEIJING, Aug. 21 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 183 km SE of Kokopo, Papua New Guinea at 1825 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 35 km, was initially determined to be at 5.37 degrees south latitude and 153.56 degrees east longitude. ■
