Wang returned to her hometown Zhujiapu Town after graduation in 2023. She joined the town's agricultural service center and immediately immersed herself in rural life. For the past three years, she has trudged through mud and braved heat and cold, working in the rice paddies day in and day out.
When she first started, many local farmers were skeptical of her. But Wang stayed grounded, bridging textbook knowledge with hands-on practice and continuously sharpening her skills.
In her view, the fundamental solution to food security lies in science and technology, which can only gain real power when it takes root in the soil.
