KABUL, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Afghan interim government's Acting Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar left Kabul for Azerbaijan with a delegation to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit, a statement of the Deputy Prime Minister's Office said on Tuesday.
During this visit, Baradar is scheduled to deliver a speech at the plenary session of the 17th ECO Summit and hold meetings with Azerbaijani officials to discuss the expansion of bilateral relations across various sectors, the statement added.
The 17th Economic Cooperation Organization Summit will be held in Khankendi, Azerbaijan, on July 3-4, 2025. ■
