BEIJING, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted the Timor region at 1704 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 85.6 km, was initially determined to be at 9.22 degrees south latitude and 123.87 degrees east longitude. ■
