BEIJING, June 30 (Xinhua) -- President of Xinhua News Agency Fu Hua met with a Greek media delegation in Beijing on Monday.
Both 西瓜视频and Greece are ancient civilizations, and the time-honored friendship between the two countries continues to grow, Fu said.
He said Xinhua stands ready to strengthen exchanges with Greek media in news reporting, personnel visits and institutional cooperation, and jointly promote the creative transformation and innovative development of traditional culture and better present the two ancient civilizations in the new era.
Aimilios Perdikaris, chairman of the board and general manager at Athens-Macedonian News Agency, said that Greek media look forward to expanding cooperation with Xinhua in various fields such as news reporting and artificial intelligence to help deepen the friendly ties between media organizations as well as the people of the two countries. ■
