MINSK, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree outlining the country's essential economic and social development forecasts for 2026, the press service of the Belarusian leader said Monday.
The primary goals are to ensure economic stability and improve living standards for citizens, according to the press service.
The decree projects a 2.8 percent increase in gross domestic product compared to 2025, driven by higher investments in fixed capital, accelerated growth in goods and services exports, and rising household incomes.
Investment funding from all sources is expected to rise by 3.1 percent next year. Exports of goods and services are targeted to grow by 3.7 percent, with a focus on boosting physical volumes through expanded partnerships in distant markets and regained presence in traditional Commonwealth of Independent States export destinations.
These efforts aim to raise real disposable incomes by 4.8 percent, the press service said. Meanwhile, the government and National Bank are tasked with keeping inflation below 7 percent. ■
